See how LWMC RF turns complex RF and microwave requirements into verified, manufacturable solutions.
The original design used two separate cable assemblies for high-temperature and ambient zones, connected through intermediate adapters. This caused high VSWR and excessive insertion loss.
LWMC RF removed the intermediate connector pair and developed a direct coaxial transition, while optimizing the connector structures at both the high-temperature and ambient ends.
A simplified RF path reduced discontinuities and achieved the required high-frequency performance.
The original N-Type 5W termination was designed for operation up to 8.5 GHz. The customer required higher-frequency operation while maintaining strong return-loss performance.
LWMC RF optimized the internal coaxial transition and impedance structure to reduce high-frequency discontinuities.
The optimized design maintained S11 below -20 dB across the required range up to 18 GHz.
The customer required a 36-channel interface to transition from a 10 mm input pitch to a 6.5 mm output pitch within a compact rigid housing.
LWMC RF developed a 36-channel SMP interconnect architecture using phase-stable coaxial cable assemblies and a precision mechanical housing.
The completed module achieved the required aperture conversion while maintaining consistent RF performance across all 36 channels.
